The Chicano Student Programs Lending Library

The Chicano Student Programs (CSP) Lending Library is located in the CSP office at 145 Costo Hall. It is a place where students can conduct research, borrow a book, or just get a little more information about who they are and where they come from. It also serves as a resource center for the entire UC Riverside student body to learn about the Chicano/Latino experience.

The library has more than 300 volumes and continues to grow. They specialize in books focused on the Chicano/Latino experience and books written by Chicanos/Latinos. Genres include fiction, history, politics, children’s literature and biography; plus anthologies, reference books and journals.

They also have a great selection of textbooks students may borrow through their Textbook Loan Program. See a list of CSP’s books.

The CSP Lending Library also welcomes donations. If you are interested in donating, please contact Chicano Student Programs
