Supporting Undocumented Students
Here, students, staff, and faculty will find tools, information, and resources to deepen their understanding of the challenges undocumented students face and to take intentional steps toward meaningful support. Whether you are navigating these experiences firsthand or committed to fostering inclusive, affirming environments, we invite you to engage with our programs, access available support services, and strengthen your capacity to advocate for—and alongside—undocumented members of our campus community.

Becoming an Undocu Ally
UCR staff and faculty interested in creating a safe and welcoming space for undocumented students are encouraged to participate in our UndocuAlly Training. For UndocuAlly Trainings you can request them via email to Program Coordinator, Maria Ximena, at mvasquez@ucr.edu.
Note to non-UCR organization/individuals
Due to limited capacity, we can no longer offer these workshops and trainings to off campus community. We can still provide outreach presentations (AB540, CA DREAM, UC Undocu resources) to groups of students within the Inland Empire (email: usp@ucr.edu). If you are interested in an ally training please consider reaching out to the Inland Empire Immigrant Youth Collective (IEYC).
Please contact Undocumented Student Programs with your school information and address, type of audience, topics to be covered and preferred dates/time for your presentation. Our availability is limited due to staff capacity therefore we can only offer these via Zoom and we cannot guarantee we can fulfill every request.

FACULTY: Syllabi & Pedagogical Resources
To support undocumented students across our campus, we offer recommended syllabus language that faculty can include in their course materials. This language affirms institutional commitment to undocumented students, encourages inclusive practices in the classroom, and connects students to vital campus resources. By including this statement, faculty signal their role as undocu-allies and help foster a more supportive and equitable academic environment.
