Masks are required indoors at all times and proof of completion of Daily Wellness Survey is required to enter all E&G offices. The R’Dream Scholarship & Book Scholarship

The R'Dream Scholarship & Book Scholarship

You may apply to both the R'Dream Scholarship and Book Scholarship, but you may only be awarded one per quarter. Be sure to reapply every quarter! If you don’t get it the first time, you may get it the next!

Please note the R'Dream Scholarship and Book Scholarship is not offered in the summer. 

 


 

The R'Dream Scholarship 

Each R'Dream Scholarship award is up to $750.

Eligibility 
  • Be a current UCR student
  • Complete the R’Dream Scholarship
  • Submit a resume and personal statement
    • Demonstrate financial need/hardship
    • Demonstrate commitment and understanding to the needs of the undocumented immigrant population. Answer all or one of the topics below:
      • Please share your commitment or involvement in serving the needs of the undocumented immigrant population. 
      • Share challenges or obstacles you have encountered as an undocumented person or child of an undocumented immigrant, and how this funding will help you in your education.

The R'Dream Book Scholarship 

If we have the textbook you need, you may borrow it from our Lending Library. If we don’t have it, and you are selected for the book scholarship, you will receive an award for the cost of your textbook(s). 

You may list up to six textbooks; if selected as a recipient USP will purchase books from Amazon.com and have them mailed to your address or an Amazon Locker near you. 

Additionally, all textbooks from the book scholarship should be returned to Undocumented Student Program’s Lending Library at the end of the quarter/course.

The book scholarship does not provide assistance with digital versions. book rentals or access codes.
