Our scholarships are now available on Scholarship Universe as of January 2026

 

Please note the R'Dream Scholarship and R'Book Program are not offered in the summer. 


R'Book Program

The week before the start of every quarter, we release our R'Book Program application, which supports eligible students with the purchase of up to 6 books that they will then return back to our USP Lending Library. We can only purchase physical books. Access codes, e-books and other digital media are not allowable requests for the R'Book Program.

The R'Dream Scholarship 

Each R'Dream Scholarship award varies per year based on funding available

Eligibility 
  • Be a current and enrolled UCR student
  • AB540/ CA DREAM Act Applicant
  • Complete the R’Dream Scholarship Application

R'DREAM will be open again the Spring 2026.

 

The Resilient Scholar Housing Scholarship

The Resilient Scholar Housing Scholarship supports UCR students by covering outstanding on-campus housing balances. This scholarship supports students who are currently facing financial barriers, helping those with an outstanding balance continue their education.
 
Please note:  
  • Student housing documentation will be required to determine eligibility. 
  • The Resilient Scholar Housing will NOT cover upcoming or future rent expenses; students are required to demonstrate an outstanding on-campus housing balance.
  • Tuition or other non-housing will not be covered. 
  • Student housing documentation (screenshot of the housing portal balance) will be required to verify eligibility.

  • Outstanding on-campus housing balance
Scholarship Review Schedule: 
Applications are reviewed on the First Friday of each month for Winter Quarter. Students should submit their applications by the deadline.

  • Wednesday, February 4th, 2026
  • Wednesday, March  4th, 2026
