PODER’s Dreaming of a Higher Education Conference

The Dreaming of a Higher Education Conference provides students with information about AB 540, CA DREAM Act, DACA, access to higher education, immigration reform, and more. This conference is usually held in November and is open to high school students, community college students, parents, and educators. Workshops are held in English and Spanish (for parents)

Happening In Person on Saturday, November 18th.

As a reminder, parent permission slips are required for all minors. It must be signed and brought with them on the day of the event. Within our policies it is mandatory to have one chaperone for every 10-15 minors, it is the responsibility of the high school/parents to accommodate this requirement. 

The conference will take place on the following date:

  • SATURDAY NOV. 18. 2023 | 9 am- 3:30 pm

Please be aware that mask mandates are continually changing throughout the state. Workshop sites may or may not have a mask requirement at the time of your event, but please be prepared to wear a mask if required.
